Completely normal. The solution is to let the things know you think they're special. Maybe take them out for dinner and a nice night out, a few drinks, a little dancing, invite them back to your place. Make sure to wear protection, because you don't know where things have been. And if you see festering sores or a noxious discharge, it's okay to change your mind and back out politely.

In that case just tell things that "no means no." Things don't have a right to do anything to your body that you don't want them to. Be strong and stand up for yourself.

Now I wish I knew what the problem was in the first place. I'm just going to assume you need to touch the inside of your keyboard for some odd reason, but without removing the keys. That I can't help you with.

It seems to me that he has the nervous habit to touch the other side of things. He gave an example of touching a wall and needing to go into another room to touch the other side of it. Then he said that he wanted to touch the other side of his keyboard's keys.

Oh yeah, weird hangups about symmetry and touching stuff is textbook OCD. They have medication for it if it really impairs your life in some way, but otherwise it's mostly harmless. And you often grow out of them, for reasons no one understands.
