Photobucket sucks

When I edit images through photobucket (before posting them), the edits don't appear. Yes, I do click apply, and I save them. It's the same for cropping, adding text, simply everything. There's no real point in editing your images if the edits only carry over to your view of the folder. This sucks.

Photobucket's good for hosting, but not for editing. Try using a real image editor, like GIMP.

Spend twenty minutes learning how to host a server, and assuming you have more than one computer lying around (or one that has more power than you use) you too can have email, file hosting, and a bunch of other neat things!

Or photoshop, which is far better but also infinitely more expensive.


Then host where ever you damn well please! I typically use Imgur as it's nice and efficient and can do batch uploads far better than most.

Photoshop is pretty reasonably priced for what it's designed for, namely, a professional tool for professional graphics editors. It's not really targeted at the script kiddies and entitled middle schoolers dreaming of cooking up another cat meme.

If you're a student, you can pick up Photoshop for like sixty bucks. There's always some sort of special offering like that going on. There's also piracy of course.
