Yes, because I somehow have a bucket of all these pieces lying around despite my rather spartan Lego purchases over the last ten years...

Hell, I actually HAVE the piece aoffan23 was suggesting in another color!
Problem is IT'S A FUCKING CANOPY!!!
Specifically one designed to lie flat on a plate using clip tiles as a hinge.
I went through as many different canopy options as I could when I FIRST built this thing, and ended up going with what I did because I could get it to work the WAY I wanted it using a trick from the very vehicle I was trying to match.

Amongst a sea of whiney bitchiness, this strikes me the most. You fucking pussy. What, is your bed time like 8? What fucking college did you go to that makes you think 15 hours is bad?
Nooo, that's the explaination for why I screwed up what "quid pro quo" means...

Personally, whiteeagle is the funnest :troll: to feed, at least for me. The fact that you tend to miss the point of other's posts intentionally or unintentionally can be routinely amusing, as is the LDD design of the same tank of some sort over and over; screw top posts and threads made for them specifically, I say!; and the extent to which you exhibit the fundamental attribution error tends to make me smile, too...memories of my college psych days.

Seems like a simple solution to me man, you have parts but they're the wrong color and you don't want to buy new parts(or they don't make them in that color), so you paint them.

I can only imagine the fit you will throw when I admit to cutting up bits of lego or using non-lego parts in my creations.

Look, a lot of people have complained about using stock sets or LDD for Armory post... so it's a bit of a sore point for me...

It also makes it extremely frustrating when you attempt to finally make one of your original creations a reality, only to hit the wall that is the Lego Company/Bricklinks vast and confusing numeric parts listing, then eventually finding out that you need to alter your creation one way or another because the two variations on the part you want to use NEVER came in the color LDD had them in!

So excuse me if I'm a bit short tempered because of god damn stud notches in a lip...

Lol, case in point. Be frustrated away, but Bricklink is for resellers trying to make a buck, not to cater to your LDD needs. I've turned 5-10 LDD creations into a reality through bricklink. And it will take research (a lot perhaps), and probably multiple stores. It's the medium you've chosen. Deal.

Hell, this give me even more reason to continue building things in shades of grey.

Certainly going to double check everything in "Brick Yellow"...

You need to use more black. Seriously, like every part comes in black.

I know man, why do you think the Arachnids look like Lovecraftian Emo-goths?

But Briktoid uses Earthtones, since that's basically what every Lego Star Wars vehicle I have is...

Instead of bitching to us about how you'll have to completely redesign it, why don't you just go and get it done? Seriously, half the fun in Lego is working around problems like that.

Or I could just use the Color Checker in LDD Manager...

Yup, haven't not found a piece I was looking for in blay. Make sure you are looking for pieces in light blay & dark blay, don't make a mistake like me ordering the older gray colors.

Hey Whiteangel I usually buy from local Bricklinkers to save on shipping. Not always an option if none of them live near by. I find the Bricklinkers in my state then email them asking if they are near <insert city name>. I also ask if they do local pick up and cash payments because not everyone local does both.

Also I wouldn't use spray paint; it just flakes off and can cause issues with things fitting together properly. Use vinyl dye; it soaks in and actually changes the color of the Lego. There's nothing to flake off nor dos it effect how pieces fit together.

Ok, first of all...

IT'S WHITEAGLE!

And second, thanks for the advice Morganm, but I think I'm going to have to look farther abroad...
Iowa only has about three large scale sellers...

Quick question though, does Bricklink use paypal?

It depends on the seller, but generally yes.
