I solved it when I saw it yesterday, and tried to show my family. None of them cared, even though they're super into computer science. Then I had a sad.

But I knew you, Tzan, would dig this doodle.

Nope. All it did was search for what-his-name on Google for you after you were done playing.

I'm not sure exactly what I did but I got much more complicated puzzles than the first set.
I returned to the page several times so maybe reloading did it, and it kept a running history of what I had done before so gave more complicated stuff on later reloads.

The page for the Turing doodle says there are twelve puzzles. After you finish the first six it googles Alan Turing for you. If you go back to the main page (by clicking on the logo), it gives you the next six. After you posted, Tzan, I went back and did the rest.

Nope, it's actually that they only release recent pages to the public periodically.

A soccer hoooligan got into todays doodle.
He has nothing to do with the word Google and is clearly got his fists up to start a fight.

Well, actually there's cricket (as mentioned by Keldoclock), rugby, snooker and darts. Infact, we've pretty much outdone everyone but the Chinese and the Dutch in snooker and darts respectively.
Besides, I don't really like the idea that we all play "soccer"* anyway :/, it makes us all sound like Wayne Rooney, which makes us all sound like we have have an IQ of five.

*Actually it was originally called "football", I still don't like it, though, probably because it's too similar to morris dancing.

EDIT: Just remembered that we got first and second place in the Tour de France, the guy who won have rather impressive mutton chops too, very British.
