Re: Sky Ruler (LDD RPG)
Fedora
Known only as Fedora, this minifig founded and heads the mysterious Fedora Society. Not much is known, except that, like every member of the Fedora Society, he fears snakes to the extreme.
SKILLS:
You Touched My Hat!:
If he is attacked, and the damage role is beaten by one or as a tie, the attacker has 'touched his hat," and Fedora gets +1 to both skill and damage for the response action, that he may kill the grievous offender!
Special Hat:
The fedora is actually made of metal covered in regular material. It gives +1 to armor.
Bag O' Swag:
If caught in a sticky situation, fedora may role a D6(or equivalent deciding thingy), and on a 5 or 6, can find what he needs in his backpack.
Extra thing:
Fedora hates/fears snakes. He gets a -1 to all skill roles against snakes, but a +1 to all damage roles versus them, do to his panicked hard swing.
Hope this is still going. Also: if orders must be sent at various times, then count me out, because I will be without access to the internet, or a computer, or lego's, for the next two weeks or so...

Re: Sky Ruler (LDD RPG)
Whats this? A challenger approaches!
Old man Greg, the senile Wizard!
Greg was known for his long and checkered past. His first unique escapade was that at some point during his wizard training, Greg accidentally cut out his own eye during a hideous shaving accident. In his first step down the road to madness, he vowed to never shave again. Because of his lack of depth perception, Greg became infamous for his experiments, and the catastrophic side effects. one such disaster decapitated his best (and only) friend, Marcus. in spite of his friend's death, Greg remained best friends, taking Marcus's head with him wherever he went. Because he not only murdered his friend, but refused to part with the skull, Greg was expelled from his Wizard school. Greg took his staff and skull with him, and began to travel the world. as his mind continued to unravel, he forgot where he was going, and lost purpose until he crashed the recruitment party.
Greg's skills:
no depth perception: Greg gains a +1 bonus on his spells (his name for hideous accidents)
Marcus: Greg can store any 1 object of any size in Marcus's skull, as a side effect of the experiment. right now, he keeps a week old avacado inside the skull.
hideous accident Magic: Greg may cast small explosions (magically)

Re: Sky Ruler (LDD RPG)
"The powers beyond have called and I must obey. Soon a new Sky Ruler will take my place and you will be required to serve him even as you have served me. Go now and help the new Sky Ruler ascend to this throne." said Alicor to the Storm Acolyte.
"I can only obey, master."
The five challengers gathered near the Well of Good Spring. The air was tense as each contestant thought of their strategies.
The Undead Cop was the first to speak.
"I don't know why all of you are here. You're clearly wasting your time."
"What are you talking about? There's only going to be one Sky Ruler and its going to be me."
Hammerman chuckled softly to himself...
... While Fedora watched his opponents carefully.
"You young'uns need to pipe down! I'm trying a new spell here!"
The Storm Acolyte looked dismally at the gathering. He didn't want to believe that one of these fools could become his new master.
"All right," he began. "The path to becoming the Sky Ruler is broken down into seven parts. The first three quests can be completed in any order either individually or as a team. You must pass all of them if you are to make it to the final four tasks."
"Now, which will you choose for your first task? The quest for the sun, the moon or the stars? All participants must compete in the same quest, so choose wisely..."

Re: Sky Ruler (LDD RPG)
PM me instructions. Don't post them here for everyone to read or I'll face palm myself.

Re: Sky Ruler (LDD RPG)
So should we post our votes for the first challenge here? If so, I vote for moon.

I'll go with the sun. the sun has never steered me wrong! (except when it has, of course. But it looks shiny, so let's go with that.)

Re: Sky Ruler (LDD RPG)
The final vote has been cast for the Star. Vote again for either the Sun or the Moon. Post your votes here. Choose wisely. Certain quests will play to your strengths, others to your weakness...

Re: Sky Ruler (LDD RPG)
Actually, with all this emphasis on making the right choice, I guess the moon might be the better location (no being dropped off on an enormous fireball with the moon!)

The Moon it is. Give me a few days to create the quest.
