A co-worker and I were discussing.. something, quite likely video game related. I believe we were discussing Suda 51's latest venture into the Wii (No More Heroes) and he brought up another crazy game. Some of you may recognize the name "From Software" as being a mechanized name you can trust (Armored Core, Chromehounds, etc.) So it is with great pleasure and a good deal of laughter that I present the intro to "Metal Wolf Chaos."

This was an Xbox game that never made it stateside (2004) where you play as the President of the United States fighting the Vice President. It also appears that the entirety of the game is in English with Japanese subtitles. It contains some of the worst voice-acting work this side of Megaman X4. Does anyone else think this is brikwar material?

Wow. Those are some crappy one-liners. And I find it hard to believe that From Software put this out. Oh, wait, no I don't.

"I'll head to Liberty Island to rescue my men. And the reason is......... because I'm the president of this great, United States of America!" That was one of the worst lines I've ever heard. Although, "SUCK! ON MY! MISSILE PUNCH!" was one of the more amusing lines. Here, more crappy one-liners: http://youtube.com/watch?v=fxTsjb46ECA&feature=relatedEn!gma wrote:I believe that the one-liners would be very appropriate form most Brikwars heroes.

Metal Wolf Chaos. But, this is why I like the Dawn of War games. Each unit has about a half-dozen one-liners, and they all kick ass.Olothontor wrote:I'm gonna go with Metal Wolf Chaos.Tiny Tank Rannon wrote:So what has more one liners, this or Super-man returns?

Why does nobody respect Warcraft II? There's the good ol' 'zug zug oorug', the classic 'dabu', and assorted phrases in real English. You can even make people in Elvern Destroyers barf! They say, and I quote,
'stop rocking the boat!
You're making me seasick!/
[insert assorted upchucking sounds here]'
And then there's my personal favourite:
'Join the army they said!
See the world they said!
I'd rather be sailing.'

Often, literally, a pillow fight but may include similar situations like volleyball, particularly when wardrobe is skimpy and the action is bouncy.

This brings back fond memories of many hours wasted away spent repeatedly double-clicking units in Warcraft 2 and Starcraft.Blitzen wrote:Why does nobody respect Warcraft II?
