I also use fire pieces to represent 1 size of fire each. For grinding damage, I keep a d4 next to the minifig in question with the grinding damage number facing up.

EDIT: I've also only gotten one other player to actually take a look at the brikwars rules online and even he only read the first two or three chapters. Most of my friends just want me to explain the rules to them so they don't have to dick around with it on their own time. The automatic rules are pretty easy to explain in person (shoot as many times as you want with -1 to skill for each additional shot, gun is empty if you roll lower than the current shot #), but the actual rulebook description seems a lot more intimidating than that.

I agree with IV here in the sense that I feel as if the rules fir automatic-fire are explained over complicated while they are in fact quite simple.
I seriously think that when rules are explained in a long block of text that there should be a "tl;dr" or a simple recap at the end of that rule explaining wall of text.

EDIT: Yes bitches I am still around and coming in to lurk once in a while. It's just that I am at a busy moment in my life where Lego and Brikwars is somewhere at the bottom of my priority list. I really do miss this community though and I think it's fucking hilarious that things haven't changed ate all. Silver is still been but snuggled for his slightly amusing trolling attempts and dickishness by Natalya. I feel as if the only thing that can draw me back to brikwars would be the release of the 2010 rulebook but that is taking as long as half life 3 to be finished.

In my opinion, "rapid fire" weapons should roll a D4 (no extra dice on crits) at the beginning of shooting, and then make that many shots.

Why? And no need to clarify d4s...they never crit anyway.

It'd be a lot simpler, instead of rolling for another shot at -1 to skill.
Besides, you'd roll for skill on the D4 shots too.

would they then jam on rolling a 1?

I like the autofire rules because of how likely it is for a gun to run out of ammo and become all but useless in the middle of a battle. -1 to skill is managable too: in most circumstances, it's 3 for the first shot, 4 for the second and so on. When I play with others, all we declare is "Starting at X" to determine what the use for the first roll is.

Personnally I did read the 2010 rulebook but I didn't read the autofire rules (they sounded too much strange).
Explained like that they seem much simpler

And if you roll lower than the current shot you're on (as in a skill roll of less than three on the third round), it jams. That's... that's about it.

I actually understud that (explained 3 times in this single page)

A question: unless I'm mistaken, carrying a 2H weapon still gets you a -1 move penalty. Armor used to also be -1, so a normal minifig with both would have 3" move. Simple. But now armor halves movement. So is that same minifig's movement 2" ((5-1)/2) or 1.5" ((5/2)-1)?
This should be in the Rulebook somewhere:

Brikwars is based on fudge so I'm guessing 2" move

I need to go back through and unify all the sections that reference Half Speed, but the rule is that Half Speed doesn't change your Move stat in any way, it just doubles the cost of movement. So 2" of movement costs 4" of Move.

The penalty from a 2H weapon affects the Move stat directly, rather than movement. So (for regular minifigs) it reduces Move from 5" to 4".

So a minifig with a 2HW has a Move of 4" and, if it's moving at Half Speed, can buy 2" of movement with it.

Are the "armored" rule to be found anywhere? From the bits i read here it basically means one die from each successful attack on a minifig or creation gets taken away?
