I only had one other person playing, just 5-6 figs each time because the map was tiny. My friend and I are trying to get a couple people to play, and once we have a mastery of the rules, we might do a Star Wars Battlefront Galactic Conquest type thingymadoo. and the reason I asked about strategy was because one battle came down to literally rolling a couple dice, then passing the turn until someone won.

With quickwars, this is more common then with actual Brikwars. The best advice I can offer you is to watch forum battles and learn how to get the best use out of your hero. The ability to get creative with a hero can oftentimes be the best weapon that your army can muster.
