After I exposed the crazy little nut that is my son at an early age to my world of really old comics, Mini-Warhead is at last getting into his own brand of more modern Comics. He's also been bugging the life out me to take him to Comic-Con. Money's a bitch at the moment but I want to fucking do stuff before I'm too old and crap to think about anything but my lawn, or whatever old gits do, so I said I'd look into it. (Hey, another cool story bro!)

As I mentioned before, Comic-Con is... barely about comics anymore. It's all movies and video games and whatever twilight or shades of shit the teeny-boppers are into and willing to pour money all over. It's expensive, crowded, smelly, and hot as hell. But, there's still really goddamn cool panels, interviews, merchants and various whats-its all over the exhibit floor that will sell and show you some really cool stuff.

Now, if you took him to comic-con, I'd definitely do what I could to play some mo'fukken brikwars with you and mini-warhead, or at least drink some beers together.

I've already looked at the tickets for next year and hotels and flights. Costly. That's the obvious problem.

I don't drive since i'm still kinda broken, but i'm not too young to where it'd be creepy to meet me at my place/pick me up so we can go elsewhere. Either way, I've got that sweet handicap parking permit.

I can make myself a legion of space-knights, but I won't have any vehicles.

Dang, my weekends are filled up till my trip to Yosemite in mid Sep. You available on the weekend of 9/22-9/23? I have an Assyrian tank you can use unless you want to do a scenario where your guys jack some 45th equipment.

@ IVhorseman, It's kool dude, I respect priorities. I can do the following weekend, but I'm not sure which day yet, (it's my niece's birthday weekend). I'll tell you as soon as I know which day I can do.

@ Colette & Natalya, Yeah I have to dig my gear out of storage first, it's not really anything too special, I built it years ago with spare parts, it's chassis is based of Artemis tank, but with a much smipler turret. I'll take a pic of it when I get it out.

Fuuuuuuck yeah! Sounds perfect. If that doesn't work for you either for some reason, pretty much any other weekend is perfect. I got heavy classes Monday and Tuesday but that's pretty much it - I have Fridays completely off.
