Right now I work part-time at a warehouse but I'll be moving to Ontario in about a month and a half and I don't know what kind of work I will find there because my degree isn't technical. I feel like tatoos might be getting more acceptable these days but I know there was some kind of stigma against them for being lower-class or something, which is bullshit IMO, but it has made me worried.
Depends on where you live, and what industry. In my department right now I often feel like I'm the only guy who isn't covered in tattoos, and the amount of tattoo coverage only increases as you get higher in the org chart. I don't think there will be any possibility of promotion within the department until I have at least two full sleeves.
I'd say wait to do anything major until you feel stable about where you're going to live and what field you plan to work in, because then you'll have a much better idea about whether tattoos are going to help or hurt your future goals.

Mike... you wouldn't happen to be making decal art for Harley-Davidson,
would you?

Have you, like ever paid attention to any thread that won't somehow merit you posting up LDD in the middle of it?
Mike works FOR lego - from concept arts to box arts and he did a HEUGE amount of the original art for Lego Universe, I think at least 2/3rds of that games visual style was cooked up from his mind alone.

No, but I did get to do a pretty good image of a heavily tattooed biker the other day.

Is that a picture of a future set or something? I've never seen it (the vehicle in the drawing) before.

I probably pay more attention then you do...

I knew that he HAD done work for Lego, I did NOT know that he was
STILL doing work for them however.

It was for some convention exclusive that got released last month. The reviewers all
hated it, so don't feel like you missed out or anything.

Omg you have no idea how hard I was lobbying for the cyborg legs. (Not the spider ones, just the
demon ones, but still.)

I think the reviewer hated the price more than anything.
I certainly wouldnt pay $40. But those hard core collectors that want a tin box would.
Its a $10 set in a tin box. So $20 as a collectable?
Nice painting.
Lego could sell that framed for more than they made on the tin.
can't wait for the new season to start in September.
Last season was very good, best one yet, very dark.

Of Clone Wars? I agree; it looks like its starting to get that way. BTW did you manage to catch the Battle of Umbara episodes? Very well-done, IMO.
This season is supposed to have more to do with Darth Maul and the Mandalorians, from what I hear.
Infantry may be the Queen of battle, but Armor is the chastity belt that keeps that bitch from getting snuggled.

Yeah, I think I saw all the episodes.
The battle with the Nightsisters was nice.
It must have been written by Shakespeare, everyone dies.
I was watching the new ones being born and thinking some young kid is having nightmares tonight

Oh hey, I forgot to mention earlier, but on the subject of tattoos - I don't usually take drawing requests, but I sometimes will for tattoos, just because I'm so entertained by the idea that some dumb thing I drew might be permanently etched into somebody and they have to spend the rest of their lives trying to explain how that happened.
