Greetings Spindlesport! Hopefully you'll become an active and exciting member of community. In the meanwhile, why not post your army in the armory? We'd all love to see it.
As for other tabletop games, we have a forum for that ("Lesser" Games) and a small WH40k community (check out RobotMonkey's WH40k paint log).
