The Grand Order of the Pure Briks (Now Less Blurry!)

Post by TheGreatSethinski » Sat Sep 08, 2012 4:47 pm

Death to all Cloan brands! Only the Pure Briks deserve to live!

Oh wait, you wanted to see an army? Here ya go:

Image
My army laying down the pain!
Image
Trooper with no weapons. The trooper has +1 armor (light armor) than a regular minifig, and therefore +1 CP, but otherwise is the same.
Image
The Pure Brik Trooper kicking butt and taking names.
Image
Image
Image
Close up of the basic trooper. He has a CP of 9 (with weapons and armor boost).
Image
Pure Brik Blastinatortm:
CP: 3
Range: 6"
Use: 3
Damage: 1d6
Image
Pure Brik Shieldomatictm:
CP: 1
Range: CC
Use: 2
Effect: Armored Parry
Image
Pure Brik Chainsword Trooper spares no expense when it comes to violence!
Image
Image
Close ups. CP on this dude is 11 with weapons and armor.
Image
Pure Brik Chainswordtm:
CP: 3
Range: CC
Use: 3
Damage: 1d6+2
Image
Pure Brik MiniBlastinatortm
CP: 3
Range: 6"
Use: 3
Damage: 1d6
Image
Nice face, bro.
Image
Image
Image
Image
Pure Brik Skiwheeler Trooper, on and off bike. It's stats are the same as the horse/rider in the manual, except it's plus 4 CP for weapons attached on it and for the trooper's light armor.
Image
Image
The Skiwheelertm and the "Ski" bit (for those interested - it took some time to come up with, so you better be interested!).
Image
Who's this?
Image
Oh yeah, the Pure Brik hero, General Lee Intimidating!
Image
Image
Image
Some shots of him. He is the same as other Super Soldier heroes except that he has an armor of 2d6+1, and the ability Lady Charmer (he can sway women on the field within a 5" radius to do some action, and it's seperate from his heroic feat). Because of these stuff he is 21 CP (with weapons).
Image
The BastardBlastinator. It has the same stats as a Long-range weapon and hand weapon combined, so it has a CP of 7.
Image
Group shot. DEATH TO CLOAN BRANDS!!!

[[BLURRY!]]Cinematic bit:
Spoiler
Show
Image
Why look! A Maniac Beer tap!
Image
It's delicious and hardcore "Manly Mineral" flavor is just sitting there.
Image
Of course, the Great Nations of the Pure Briks would be here. The only thing they love more than Maniac beer and rock music is killing Cloan brands.
Image
Crud! A stupid Spaes Murcenury.
Image
The dumb Spaes Murcenury fires his Spaes Pisstul. Good thing the trooper has a shield!
Image
Blazam! Eat laser pistol, n00b!
Image
Now nothing stands between the trooper and his "Manly Mineral" Maniac beer!
Image
Spoke too soon.
Image
The trooper spins around to face the BOT OF MUCH DOOM.
Image
And dodges out of the way of the flamethrower.
Image
The BOT OF MUCH DOOM is hit... but it has no effect.
Image
The BOT OF MUCH DOOM begins to play his theme song.
"I like big guns and I can not lie!
Even peach figs can't denie
That when a fig walks in with a little bitty brain
And a big gun in your face
You get killed!"

Image
Apparently the music has attracted another GNPB trooper.
Image
I guess he doesn't like Sir Brix-A-Lot.
Image
At least the BOT OF MUCH DOOM had a cool theme song.
Image
The GNPB trooper walks toward the Maniac beer to claim it.
Image
But the evil Dr. Tophat drives to it on his Tophatmobile!
Image
Quick! He's getting away the Maniac beer! Who can stop him?
Image
The troopers can't catch him...
Image
But this guy can!
Image
It going to big a big explosion! YES!
Image
Or not. That works too.
Image
The bike trooper steals the Maniac beer!
Image
Ker-splatt!
Image
Party time.
Image
:csi:
Comments and criticism welcome. I only have those four units right now, and one of each weapon except the MiniBlastinatortm, so it's really more of a concept.
Hope you guys liked it and don't feel I wasted 15 minutes of you life. Finally, I leave you with this:

I like the white trooper design. The black trooper maybe as well but I couldn't see him very well. I think that's the first time I've seen those Ice Rebel visors been used well.

Like I said, it's not the focus or anything. It's on flower mode and it's pretty much as stable as I can get. It's just my crappy camera. I'll try to get a better camera next time.

The black trooper is just thrown together randomly :P However I'm glad you like my basic trooper. More pics soon (Dr. Who is on!!!)

It looks nice! The white trooper design looks really Tek Level 6! It's good to have an army with that look again, as most look either 7,5 or 3-4.

Seriously, learn about Macro Mode. Practically all regular digital cameras have it.

The problem is your camera focuses on other things. I take multiple shots if the pic is blurry, then choose the best one.

Thanks!

It's set on the most brik-friendly settings my camera has. Flower mode, no flash, still shot. Just low quality.

Sadly those are the best of my pics. :(

Soon (and by soon I mean when the stars align and I don't need to do homework and I'm not feeling lazy), I'll post better pics using my dad's camera. I might post some pics of my hero too.

Sorry to keep hammerin' on the subject but that's not a quality issue. That's definitely focus related. Ask your dad for help or read the camera manual. It's worth it and you spare our eyes.

I got my settings figured out... and then the batteries gave out. Are the Brik gods conspiring against me? :mystery:

Much Better. Too bad your camera died. Also, are those New Coruscant Republic troops, or just random clones? If they're NCR troops, you are now our hated enemy! :fist:

No worries, they are just random minifigs. No need to pick fights already.

So! Bumpdate. Included my new hero, General Lee Intimidating.
