When I was designing board games in the 80s I used a sketch book that was big. I mixed text and sketches.
Sharing the notes was a problem, as you now know.
So I had to switch to 8.5" x 11" standard copier paper to write on like Bonn-o-Tron. It has no lines.
I don't like paper telling me what to do, with its damned lines!
So for my architectural work and everything else, I use copy paper. I still always mix text and sketches.
I grab about 10 sheets and put them in a clipboard.
I currently use a Uni-ball .5 mm black pen.
