Industiralcraft, Buildcraft, Not Enough Items, Equivalent Exchange 2 and many more in one bundle? Nice! But...
Do you have to use all of them? Some of them are just too powerfull and spoil the fun of survival mode. You don't celebrate each new diamond any more when you can build a factory that produces them automatically in the dozens.
Or when you can cheat them directly into your inventory with NEI.

NEI only gives you items if you're opped, I think. Otherwise, it just gives you crafting recipes. Also, all the stuff to mass produce diamonds is extremely expensive, so it would be a while before someone had a diamond factory up and running.

I think Tekkit on the server would be cool!

it'd be interesting that's for sure. as long as we don't have any assholes blowing everyones stuff up with nukes

I did some research and it seems EE changed quite a bit since I played it. It even got a version number bigger than 1. I say let's give it a try.
