Planetside will have fewer bugs.
Also if you pick Planetside you should jump is solo for 5+ hours just to get the hang of how the weapons and base capture works.
You could be on team speak at the same time. But you'll need to learn at your own speed, and die alot.

The specs needed for Planetside 2 are lower than Mechwarriors, too. That's another big plus for PS2.

We go in first wave on Indar. We smash the defences, push right through, Secure and Hold Rashnu Biolabs against NC and Vanu attack.

We are the northern warpgate. We take the road down through Mao, past NS Material Labs, and through the valleys into Rashnu. Operation launches at 5pm EST. I am giving command of 2nd Squad over to Natalya. In exchange I am changing my rank from Sergeant to Lance Sergeant in 8th squad. 8th squad will be made up of me and possibly my brother, who has a Mac. 8th Squad will be used in suicide missions that have low chances of success.
