The Sparrow Ubermann

Post by doodstormer » Wed Sep 10, 2008 7:46 am

For those of you who don't know, Ubermann is a new fad going around Flickr recently. Unlike cave racers though, the specifications are a lot more specific and less restricting. (To me, at least.)
So here's my contribution to the Ubermenn.

Image
"What sits in a tree and is deadly?"
"A sparrow with a machine gun."

In the distant future, sports like Caveracing, Cyborg Racing, and Mech Racing were not the only extreme sports to rise from futuristic boredom. Here and there across the Earth, people compete in tournaments and single combat in hardsuits deemed: "Ubermann" after the German company that first produced consumer hardsuits. According to the general rule of thumb, they can only have four equipment mounts: one on each arm, and two on the backpack. They also require a large black wrench mounted on them in order to function (Mine has a 4L bar standing in, until I can find a wrench.). All Ubermann Hardsuits must be built off of a uniform frame. Apart from that, they can have any armor, weapons, arms or legs, anything.

The Sparrow has a unique leg style, known as "chicken feet", which sets it apart from the other hardsuits. These feet give it enhanced stability, making it harder to knock down.

Weaponry:
L ARM: Heavy cannon
R ARM: Gatling gun
BACK: Heavy helipack

The helipack allows longer and higher flight, making the Sparrow a deadly adversary from the air.

Here's the group if anybody's interested in it.

Anyway, [bla] [bla] and [bla].

Act first, then think, then try to find a way to cover up the horrible mess you made.
