Yesterday I went to see Vicious Rumors at de Rots, the same place I saw Iron Mask the second time.

The opening band was terrible, they only got some attention when they brought a stripper on stage. Hilarity ensued when Larry Howe (Drummer of Vicious Rumors) pulled up his shirt and started dancing along with the stripper, and then was all like 'hey why aren't you taking pictures of me?'

Vicious Rumors was fantastic: long set, great songs, and mighty performance from these guys although they're used to playing before way bigger crowds.

I saw Anthrax, Motorhead, and MOTHER-FUCKING SLAYER! at Mayhemfest back in mid-July. Plus a bunch of other bands I can't remember, and couldn't care less about.

ll those bands are way beyong their zenith. The others you never cared about were probably much better.

I love Motörhead, but I would never see them in concert. Lemmy's voice sucks beyond belief nowadays.

I went to see Sabaton in Brussels last tuesday. They were much better than they were at Graspop (they had sound problems there). It wasn't perfect, but still a very good gig. The crowd (about 2000 crazy Belgians) made so much noise they were often louder than the music.

So i went to see Steel Panther last night in Hamburg. That's the third time for for me with them this year and once again a lot of fun. Very nice venue, too. Only too many short haired "Rock am Ring" ppl. Going there alone had the major drawback of this being a rather expensive trip though.

I bet it was worthy it. Loads of boobs in their shows

I went to see Within Temptation's 15th anniversary show Elements... since it was a special occasion, they had an orchestra, a choir, guest artists, dancers, performers, stage effects... It was a mind-blowing visual experience, and the music didn't disappoint either.
