Always feel up the bags!

Even if everyone at Toys R Us in the customer service line is staring over at you like your some fucking weirdo... it's totally worth the effort and shame =)

Nice haul btw =^.^=

I feel up the bags 99% of the time. I even help people find stuff. Last night I just decided to spin the wheel for some reason. Mistake!

I actually love red's basket - I twisted it around a gattling gun and it looks like a big goofy battery pack for lazers.

You should have driven out to Enfield, I'd have snuck you in for secret discounts. Too late now though, the good stuff gets cleaned out fast with holidays coming up.

Nope. Damaged shipments get sent back to us and sold to employees at a big discount, but they're surprisingly rare. When toy retailers have overstock they usually move to an overstock aisle for awhile, and then to an overstock store. I remember most of the big retailers had their own overstock stores, but it's been a while since I paid a lot of attention to the retail side of things so I can't remember the names of them off the top of my head.

A lot of stuff changed when everything went internet and Toys R Us bought up KB Toys and FAO Schwartz and consolidated the whole market; maybe they don't have physical toy overstock stores anymore.

Certainly not over here in Germany.
Only once about two years ago i have seen a bunch of small Exo-Force sets ending up in a bargain store and i hardly believe the large retail stores, which often sell overstocks of larger sets at ridiculous prices after the holiday season, really do sell all sets they ordered. :mystery:
On the other hand some afols might just buy everything they can find (i know for a fact they have private forums for that) which is a shame because we know all they will build with the bricks are trains and other boring mocs. :-(

Got two of the space swarmer sets. Will probably get the rest of the galaxy squad soon. Got to say, one of my favorite themes released so far

Actually, my local mall has a Toys R Us express outlet that is similar to an overstock store, as a large amount of their stock comes from spare items from another Toys R Us store about 45 minutes away, if I remember right...

Got a handful of parts from bricklink, mostly for enhancing the robot womyn; wish I could find a place with a healthy supply of green 6x12 and 4x12 plates; it kinda hamstrings any sort of future battle until I get them.
