Get to higher ground. Take aim while I wait for the Stahlräuber to soften the Crabs defenses and then hit it where it hurts.

Alright, first off

Main Weapon: Mk. 2
Second Weapon: Mk 1
Armor: Mk. 2
Pilot Skill: Mk. 1
Hydraulics: MK. 1

I think that's right.

Anyways, I try to lure the monster south, while keeping it at a far enough distance.

The Stahlräuber charges forward at the crab with it's giant chainsaw. The crab lifts it's claw to parry, but the chainsaw cleaves through the beast's calcium carbonate armour and severs the claw.

-18hp

Weapons System Glaskanone moves on top of the Midway Atoll and fires it's main gun at the crab, unfortunately the Stahlräuber is caught in the blast.

-9hp

-7hp

The Kalvinator Mk 20 moves to the crab's flank and fires a flare in an attempt to lure the crab to the south. However it seems too preoccupied with the other two mechs to see the light.

The crab grapples the Stahlräuber's chest and clamps down with it's claw. Some internal systems are damaged, and the Stahlräuber is trapped!

-16hp

Stahlräuber 87/110
Glaskanone 110/110
Kalvinator Mk 20 120/120

Giant Crab 173/200

The Giant Crab is in the ocean, holding the Stahlräuber in it's grasp. The Glaskanone is on the Midway Atoll facing the crab's front and is east of the crab and in safe distance. The Kalvinator is to the south of the crab, facing it's legs.

OOC: The Glaskanone and Kalvinator Mk 20 got pretty bad rolls this turn.

You know what, cut off some of its legs to set it off-balance, and then start dragging it south.

I asume we know each other by name and have a communication line standing.

"Sorry, Jeff, won't happen again. I'll have you out of its pincers in a sec."

Take aim. I'd like to hit its arm in an attempt to free the Stahlräuber and mutilate the carb. But first of all I don't want to hit my ally again, so if I deem the risk too high, I look for another bodypart to target like the legs.

Nah, let's not do that. It's his own fault if he got banned. But we can guess what he would do: Either try to get free or stay grabbed but inflict more damage while the crab is occupied. There isn't much else.

The cockpit lights and computers of the Stahlräuber flickered as Jeff Schmidt tried desperately to control the iron brick. The giant chainsaw continued to whir loudly, only muffled by distance and the neo-aluminum frame. Schmidt only had one shot to escape the monster's grasp, and pulling an emegency lever he ejected his chainsaw arm, propelling it towards the Crab. Success, the Chainsaw shattered through the Crab's shell, as the beast screamed, impaled by the now dead chainsaw.

Friedrich sent a voice message to Jeff Schmidt, revealing that communications had not been knocked out yet.

Friedrich: "Sorry, Jeff it won't happen again. I'll get you out of those pincers in a second."

Schmidt: "You might want to hurry, I'm having trouble getting propulsion systems online and the only weapon I have left is my drillpack special."

Friedrich, now locked onto the beast's left joints fired his Gaußkanone. The beam connects and leaves the right claw hanging on by a string. The Stahlräuber is able to free itself from the grip and stumble backwards.

-19hp

The Kalvinator Mk 20 charges forward with the Crisis Katana Mk I. The blade hits the crab's leg but slides off of the shell and only peeling off a few barnacles.

-0hp.

The crab now with only one claw left swings in a wide range, knocking the Stahlräuber back and the Kalvinator Mk 20 off balance.

-9hp
-5hp

Stahlräuber 79/110
Glaskanone 110/110
Kalvinator Mk 20 115/120

Okay, I stand back and start blasting at it just to weaken it.

"Jeff, you ok? *wait for reply* Got it. Kris, Jeff, can you try to retrieve that arm? Then we can focus on that breach in it's shell and hit the soft flesh underneath."

While I say that I take aim and hit at the next supposedly weak spot: the face or the other arm's joints, whatever is better to hit from my position. And take special care not to hit comrades.

The Kalvinator Mk 20 is able to use it's off-balance to stumble back several steps. The Kalvinator Mk 20 fires point blank at the crab, doing an impressive amout of damage. Unfortunately it lands on the well armoured sides of the beast.

-10hp

Friedrich: Jeff, try to grab that arm, then fall back where we can focus on the shell's breach.

Schmidt: Okay, I'll try my best.

Friedrich, taking special precautions to avoid comrades and shoot the shell breach fires too high. The beam goes over the crab's head and far into the horizon.

-0hp

Edit: not done.

Jeff Schmidt's controls become online in the nick of time. Jeff pulls the Chainsaw arm from the crab's flesh and legs it to the Midway Atoll.

-3hp

Private Channel

Jeff Schmidt: Chainsaw arm is saved but detached and without a power source. Requesting secondary weapon.

Tim Herman-Trout: No can do, but I can read you the procedure for reactivating the chainsaw.

....

The Giant Crab turns and knocks the rifle out of the Kalvinator Mk 20's hands with it's right front leg. It then brings down it's nearly severed arm on the mech, who is able to crab the arm with it's open hands.

Stahlräuber 79/110
Glaskanone 110/110
Kalvinator Mk 20 99/120

Jeff restarts and makes erect the chainsaw arm, and makes it sail through the air, piercing the crabs shell. He then retreats to the Midway Atoll

-35 hp.

The Kalvinator Mk 20 pulls out the Crisis Katana and misses the weakness in the arm with it's swing. It does however crack a bit of the body's shell.

-13 hp

Friedrich Schuhmacher contacts Kris Jackson

Friedrich: Get down Kris, I am firing the Gaußkanone at the arm.

Kris: Got it.

The Glaskanone fires the Gaußkanone at the arm's wound.

PFFFZZZZZZZZTTTTTTTTT. The arm is completely severed, and bits of the side shell are singed.

-23 hp

The Giant Crab starts to run north, away from it's attackers.

Stahlräuber 79/110
Glaskanone 110/110
Kalvinator Mk 20 99/120

Giant Crab 61/200
