Re: Crimson Crusade Stage 2: Initiation
Alright, your character stats have been added to the 'guide' page. It might be worth checking them out since every knight is slightly different. Also you could potentially spend your starting 10g and first Skill Point as long as you're in the neutral zone (the throne room).

I (sir Almond) will use my cunning to get behind the Falx attacking sir James, and will kill as many of them as possible. Are the Knights of the Realm Armored or not?

Check the guide page, however I do know that you aren't. I will rush the Falx and kill them.Falk wrote:I (sir Almond) will use my cunning to get behind the Falx attacking sir James, and will kill as many of them as possible. Are the Knights of the Realm Armored or not?

Re: Crimson Crusade Stage 2: Initiation
Everyone starts out with regular stats, pretty standard equipment and one ability / advantage. For example Sir Marcriss has a heavy weapon, Sir Egon starts out with Evasion etc. So you're shown wearing your armour, it just doesn't affect your ratings yet. Unless you buy it. It's all in the guide.
Re: Crimson Crusade Stage 2: Initiation
I thought my guy's perk was 2 hp, in the Armory thread, it says that it is his perk.
The only unflawed system is Lego System.

Re: Crimson Crusade Stage 2: Initiation
Yeah, it does, that information is outdated though. It's outdated because at the time I introduced them, I didn't think I was going to use them as characters, rather as NPC's. A heavy weapon is awesome though, especially 'cos you can use it to charge (which is pretty much a certain kill if it hits + has a chance to disable your opponent even if you don't kill him). You can get another HP once you have 2 SP and are simultaneously in the neutral zone (where you train your character / buy new stuff).

But in actuality, Hammerman does too much work to be stubby.

Re: Crimson Crusade Stage 2: Initiation
But you know how this works. When one hero is occupied, we simply create an alter ego:
Stubhammer the Banhawk, also known as Bannerman.
He starts out with a shield, a heavy weapon and level 1 strength, but no gold. The extra strength allows him to carry / hold 1 extra size point of weapons and attempt minor strength feats. This is as good as it gets, Zupponn.
Round 1
The NPC's move first, the Falx jumping down the slopes and killing all but one horse, which takes a hit.
When Lord James and his warriors strike back, 3 Falx are killed. At this rate, there'll be nothing left for you guys.
"Good day to you sir. Mind if I bash in thine cranium with my mace?"
"Go right a-head." (get it? ... nvm)
Sir Jarvis (Silverdream) gains +1 XP and + 1 gold from this kill. I'm pretty sure that soldier is only smiling because he's nervous.
The distraction is enough for Lord Godfrey (Alex) to rush in unnoticed.
A direct hit somehow glances off the grinning Falx's helmet.
Godfrey gets angry and tries to bash the guy's head in with his lance, and he would've too, if the alerted spearman hadn't parried.
It's to no avail, however, as Sir Marcriss (Scratch) comes in and strikes him down. Since this is what we'll call let's say 'a joined kill' the rewards are split and Sir Marcriss gets 1 XP while Godfrey gets 1 G. When / if a target is worth more than 1 G and / or XP, it's split evenly as well, if not the 1 XP goes to the character who strikes the final blow.
Almond the Cunning (Falk) is the next to emerge.
He angry inches himself closer, strikes past the soldier's parry, but doesn't break the armour.
Sir Egon the Quick (lawmaster) is somehow the last to arrive.
He attacks, failing to kill but pursuing his enemy up a slope.
Since this is going too well for you guys, 4 more Falx emerge from their hiding spots to even up the odds.
Those of you who do not have quests can go to Queen Lara to receive one. Or look around to find one of the undiscovered ones.

Advance further into the fray, but be wary of Falx leaping from above.

Re: Crimson Crusade Stage 2: Initiation (Round 1 complete)
This is pretty sweet, I'm a huge fan of RPGs so the gaining XP and gold is à nice addition to the normal BRIKWARS style gameplay.
Re: Crimson Crusade Stage 2: Initiation (Round 1 complete)
Lord Godfrey should plant his banner in the dead falx to inspire nearby allies. He should then charge in and try to kill any nearby falx. Pick up another weapon or shield if possible.
