Postby Scratch » Sun Feb 10, 2013 8:28 pm

I have recently realized that my political views, my philosophical understanding, and part of my sense of humor from one source, the comic Calvin and Hobbes. It is slightly scary how one media source at a young age could affect me so profoundly, my question is if any other one thing has affected anyone else's views to such a degree

Hmm interesting. I think I got most of my politics from listening to the Subhumans as a teenager (then I read Foucault and everything was confirmed)...

It never occurred to me as a child that there could be monsters under my bed, until I found a Calvin and Hobbes book in my house.
