Went by the Lego Store and almost got one of those yesterday. Got Build-a-Figs and a couple small sets totaling 31 and change. Sets were the Galaxy Squad Space Swarmer and a City set, Fire Motorcycle, which we bought for the red cycle to go with one of the figs we built.

I'm surprised nobody's noticed that they've got some horse-armour for their new "pose-able" horses. Shame they don't look as awesome as the old ones: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=6125

I did notice, and all in all I like the new horses. I already have a ton of normal horses though.

Yeah I do think the new horse head armor looks pretty dam ugly though. Why hasn't anybody made a wiki entry or soap oprah entry about how the horses have seemed to mutate in a newer better species with the latest reconstruction?

To be fair, I always thought the OLD horsehead armor was ugly. It was exciting and made sense in the Dragon Master sets, but why every castle faction after that used the same barding (that was so clearly dragon-themed) I have no idea.

I got a couple of the new Horses in a LotR set (Weathertop?)- one of the things I really liked about them was that they don't immediately make the older Horses look stupid. You can use them side-by-side. It's really quite a clever design job and I was really impressed by them.
