All the bands on your list suck. It's only one genre, Kansas and Boston are especially weak bands and it contains no metal. You say they are the 15 best albums of all time when they're not even the best Rock and Roll albums. Your list also comes off as very pretentious, and I would think it was a troll if it hadn't come from you.

7: I personally don't think the beatles are the best band ever, but above any other band on the list the "unlikableness ratio" is very small, I know 0 people who don't like them.
8: Rock music is not a genre (Rock and roll is, but that is confused with Rock) I have Prog rock, Alt rock, Blues rock (if you could even call Neil Young blues rock), Psychedelic rock, Hard rock, and a few other genres.
9: Kansas and Boston are king. I have no idea what your supposed "logic" is.
10: Metal is a good genre, but personally not my favorite. It is certainly above Pop and that Dub-step bull shit, but I like hearing vocals. (Not even the lyrics themselves, but a wide voice range like Brad Delp's sounds very good)
11: Most of these are the most critically acclaimed rock albums of all time, and are influential in their own right. ESPECIALLY Boston, it had a particular sound that mixed acoustic and electric guitars very well.
12: All lists make people sound pretentious

There is some good new music, lonely island, powerglove, and coldplay. It's just that a lot of it is bad. (I know there were bad bands back then too, but not at the same level)

I think some of their covers are better than the originals, mainly the batman one. the guitar solos are VERY good, but I can see your point. On that note, G-WAR is a gimmick in the same right because their band to me at least seems to mostly revolve around stage personalities. I am into comedic music, and even if lonely island does use auto tune they have good stuff in their lyrics. Justin beiber and one direction on the same note just follow what seems to be a good idea to a label.
