Something I quickly knocked together for a photo of a Cyclops minifig I got from series 9 (now I want more of them - at least another 14):

I don't like the cyclops all that much. His head seems too big for his body and I can't find a use for him elsewhere.

Oh the Cyclops is very useful to me. Just get 20 in 4 squads, give them various pointy or bashy weapons, have them defending something with LOOT in it...

I'd honestly be surprised to see anyone else build an AC. But if they do, I demand they go battle Natalya.

Most of one does not an AC make.

The guy with all the custom anime minifigs (forgot his name) had large parts of one finished too, but those pics were posted about a year ago.

Personally I don't get this whole 'I need to build this so my faction can be the uber strongest' - while I encourage building up a large faction with cool stuff in it, if we don't see it in battle, no one will even know about your faction. Avalon for example is a small faction, but they were featured a lot, had a couple of nice battles, so people know and like them, which is more important than 'zomg my faction is the best0rz!' imo.

The reason I'd never build an AC (apart from logistical reasons, of course) is because you could hardly ever field something like that and still have a proper army to oppose it (and you'd need a freakin' big battlefield), or just have a battle where the AC is alone and stomps everything else. The Gekka is a lot smaller than an AC and I have trouble thinking up a scenario where it could fight without being an absolute game breaker already.

It isn't technically hard to make if you have the $20 instructions (do you have them Apollyon by the way?) but gathering the pieces would be a monumental effort of time and bricklink-scouring. First, you have to find seven of these massive gear turntables (they're in the XXX Mobile Crane set), along with tons of other technic bits and bobs and of course the raw pieces to make that thing. Natalya had a huge part collection and she still had to cough up $200 over a period of time to make hers.

I have six of the turntables already but yes I will still have to cough up 100 dollars for grey pieces and dark blue pieces. Also where can I find the instructions. I have had an arm sitting on my desk for an AC for about a month yet but can't figure out if I should keep it or not.
