FMA advice

Everyone keeps telling me how great FMA Brotherhood is, but since I saw the original first I think the pacing and voices are terrible?

Is it really worth trying to get into, and if so how do I not hate it?

Brotherhood is much faster pace and plot driven rather then the character and dialog driven 2001 series. i like it a lot more, and it has some freaking epic battles

But the pacing was so bad in the first four episodes of brotherhood. I only felt annoyed at Edward and Alphonse, and parts that would still make me feel in the original just felt rushed.

The Brotherhood quests are usually pretty good. I mean, what can be more exciting than assassinating people?

I agree with this completely. The original was absolutely amazing and Brotherhood was just a castration of the plot for the sake of action.

The original is like Mass Effect: sure, it's got plot or whatever, but when everything's over you just want to punch the writer in the face.
Now be smart and read the manga instead.
