Or the 2005 is still pretty fine (it is IMO)?

Me too! The 1998 rules had a flavor I really love, especially the section on the star civilizations... It's definitely half of my inspiration for Brikwars in general. I may use 2005 rules, but 1998 was the best for inspiration and flavor... I think I still have some pictures of the squad of Green Things I built one day... Not to mention headdroids or whatever they're called (they implant explosives in a minifigs brain), I built some of those too.ahp77 wrote:I think 1998 rules are best.
