Gerald and Nisos go back to train the mink. The rest of the party moves down the corridor, reaching the turn, where they see that the corridor continues for a while before ending in a door.

Saucix opens the door, and you see yet another room. It is empty aside from a huge pile of rocks in the corner. Looks like broken stone furniture. There is a door on the left wall.

I'll remain in the rear, naturally.

Since we don't have our tank with us, maybe we should create a flank trap around the doors as we open them. One to the front, two to each side and hope that monsters are stupid enough to charge us like they would in an old school video game rpg.

(We should probably stop splitting the party. It's a pretty good way to die.)

We're right in the other room. Just shout and we'll come running.

Open the door with caution.

You open the door and see a large, long room. There is a big and tall stone table in the room, with four of the huge stone chairs. The chairs and table are of matching size. Two doors on the left wall lead from the room. One of the chairs are standing right in front of the door the furthest away.

I'll keep an eye on the doors while he does that.

Saucix starts picking through the large rock pile. He soon notices a cold draft along the floor, and behind the rock pile he spots a crack in the wall by the floor, a couple inches large. Some snow has blown in through it. He keeps searching the pile, and suddenly his fingers touch something soft and scaly. He pulls his hand back, moments before several snake heads shoot out, snapping at the air. A ball of intertwined snakes falls out of the pile onto the floor, hissing weakly. They seem rather dazed. Saucix sees that they were lying on top of a round stone, about half a foot in diameter, perfectly white and smooth.

I pick up the stone and attempt to examine it. I can tame the snakes later.

The stone is perfectly round and polished smooth, without any irregularities. The rock it is made from is absolutely white and not very heavy.
