Coming Soon, Part 2 - Pics

Postby Vami IV » Mon May 20, 2013 9:16 pm

After a little bit of building and designing, the Emerians are here. Please note though, that they are not yet complete. At least 3-4 more vehicles need to be completed, and I have to find all my troops. Anywho:

Future Forum battle. The above squad are the above playable characters. There is a third character that may or may not be playable. (He may or may not be seen, but he's standing in front of the wooden door in the Compound.

Yes, there are Megabloks in there. Those are in there because the opposing faction (left) is my brother's, and I used his megabloks for hiss 'base.' They are meant as obstacles.

Tutorial: How to share images from Flickr

Image
Look in this general area. Click on the button that looks like an arrow coming out of a rectangle:
Image

Third option is to "Grab the HTML/BBCode." For posting on the forums, select BBCode, select the desired size, then copy/paste the text it gives you:
Code: Select all
[url=http://www.flickr.com/photos/snakemittens/8761104497/][img]http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5328/8761104497_c0fbc161fe_s.jpg[/img][/url]
[url=http://www.flickr.com/photos/snakemittens/8761104497/]Share button[/url] by [url=http://www.flickr.com/people/snakemittens/]SnakeMittens[/url], on Flickr

I usually delete the whole second half, giving this:
Code: Select all
[url=http://www.flickr.com/photos/snakemittens/8761104497/][img]http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5328/8761104497_c0fbc161fe_s.jpg[/img][/url]

Notice how the [img] tags are already in place.

Now you're good to go! :rtfm:

Trying to be constructive, Vami, you have to get closer to stuff in your pictures. The battlefield one, I felt like I was looking to buy a dresser off craigslist and the picture had some random lego on top. No offense.

I'm under the impression that it probably shouldn't be under your Username.

Anyway, Thanks. I have more photos on the way that will be posted sooner, either on the battle I will create for the forum.

I usually don't like when people keep the link to the hosting site in the image. Gets a little annoying if you accidentally click on it.

So, I would change this:
Code: Select all
[url=http://www.flickr.com/photos/snakemittens/8761104497/][img]http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5328/8761104497_c0fbc161fe_s.jpg[/img][/url]

to this:
Code: Select all
[img]http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5328/8761104497_c0fbc161fe_s.jpg[/img]

Also saves Mike some server space, however little that may be.

A team of Respentaz super soldiers. The orange one was originally a heavy, but I don't have enough helmets or those bodies to make more of them.
Image
From Left to Right:
Major Sevil (One of my Planetside 2 Terrans :p) Recon trooper. Basically a beefed up scout.
Shadow (7263) Heavy sniper. Capable of taking a Terrorkhan's hat off at 3000 yards. With extreme prejudice
Major Romano (My personal favorite) Squad leader. He is armed with a laser magnum (Blue Transplant) and an OTC. He is one of the emperor's most trusted military masterminds
Unnamed Heavy. (Thought of Thesson or Zupps at the time. Can't remember) Heavy. Armed with an experimental laser LMG
Unnamed Respentaz (Originally called "Shinji," because I thought of his resemblance to the Neon Genesis Evangelion character) Basically a standard trooper, but with about 2-3 more armor.

These units are very pricey. Deploy with caution.

EDIT: Some of these mini figs have been recycled for my main force. Need more cannon fodder.

This thread is no longer valid. Most of the aforementioned figures have been recycled, leaving only Romano. Use this thread instead:
