You pick out a curved sword and a shield decorated with various sharp teeth. They will suffice.

"Verily well. We shall head towards the goblins, rob them of their orb and get out while Pakkaan is smiling."

I grab all the orbs and put them in my pack.

Me and Logan the Mink will stay near the back of the party, and I will feed him the goblin corpses.

Including the one carried by the ice person?

The goblin corpses are frozen solid. You'd need to thaw them before Logan can eat them.

I say we go after the snowman's orb. It'll be safer in our hands, and we can take it as a group.

After picking up the orbs in the room with the slots, you go back to the ice humanoid's room. Saucix bends down and tries to pry the white stone from its fingers.

The creature clutches the stone to its chest, rising to its full length and raising its sword. It gives a terrifying scream like the howling of a blizzard. Logan whimpers.

Saucix rolled Initiative 14+1
Gerald rolled Initiative 6+0
Gregor rolled Initiative 6+1
Nisos rolled Initiative 19-2
Adarim rolled Initiative 8+0

Ice person rolled Initiative 1+2

You have a chance to do something.

WHAT DID I TELL YOU.

WHAT DID I TELL YOU TO NOT DO.

I have 2 HP, but still more AC than any of you. Allow me to tank. If you want to heal me real quick before the fight I'd appreciate it, but ya'll might be better off waiting for me to actually go down before trying it. Maybe. I'm leaving that call up to you. Either way, I'm just going to run up to the beast and smack it with this shitty goblin sword until it dies, or i do.

Adarim
Bash it with sword and shield, and focus on whatever points seem the weakest.

I cast magic missile at the beast, and stay out of melee range.

If I have the ability to backstab it, I will. Regardless, I will flank with Gerald.

Saucix aims for the arm and swings his sword.

Rolled Melee 18+1 vs. AC, rolled 1+1 damage

The sword hacks into the arm and some chunks of ice are broken loose.

Gerald runs up in front of the ice being, lashing out with his small goblin sword.

Rolled Melee 15+2 vs. AC, rolled 3+1 damage

He deals a blow to the torso, causing some cracks in the ice.

Adarim joins the melee with another sword.

Rolled Melee 5+1 vs. AC

Adarim's attack is too slow and the ice creature parries it with its own sword.

Gregor quickly steps around the room to get behind the fight. He is in position for a backstab on his next turn.

Nisos conjures up a magic missile, and launches it.

Rolled 14+4 vs. Ref, rolled 5+3 damage

The missile hits the creature in the chest and blows a huge crater in the ice. Shards fly everywhere. The creature sways for a moment... but then its howling intensifies, and it breathes a stream of freezing air at Saucix. A layer of frost forms over Saucix's head and arms, and he staggers backwards in shock. 6 damage

Situation:
Spoiler
Show
Saucix: 2/8 HP, covered in frost

Gerald: 2/8 HP

Gregor: 5/6 HP, in position for backstab

Nisos: 1/1 HP

Adarim: 7/7 HP

Logan: Healthy, whimpering

Opposition: Ice person, heavily wounded

Comfort Logan, cast protection from evil. This should make me immune to his melee until I attack him in melee.
