Grenade Idea

Postby Vami IV » Tue Jul 30, 2013 12:46 pm

Several months ago, I began to ponder about why the Grenade was a missing element in BrikWars. Sure, we have grenade launchers, but not hand held grenades for a mini fig to throw into a room and reduce his target to a smoldering, pasty ruin. We have Tanks, planes, Mechs, undead hordes, Vikings, Cowvalry, and an assortment of other amazing creations. (Please understand my lack of knowledge of every single damned battle of this site)

However, we lack a simple hand-held explosive device that has existed since about the Industrial Revolution.

So I thought:
How could we fit this perfectly childishly destructive device into our already wide arsenal of mayhem?

Without further interruption, Vami's Grenade Theory:

First off, a mini fig shall only be granted at most four grenades. To throw a grenade, roll a standard 6-sided die to see how many inches it travels. If lower than 2, the grenade is a dud and reduces the user to a fine paste (unless they pass an armor roll. They still lose that limb), now roll that die again to see how many inches it gets (unless you decide while making your fig's grenade. If so, roll a skill check). If a mini fig (or vehicle) is caught in the blast radius, make an armor roll and add 2 because of the grenade's shrapnel and explosion in general.

Rather simple. Should be easy to follow. Thoughts?

Could you change this thread's name to Vami's Grenade Theory or just delete it?

Also: Up to this point though, I have see TNT used, but not a grenade.

Throwing TNT and throwing a grenade are exactly the same thing. You arm the explosive, the fuse starts going, you throw it, it explodes after the fuse runs out.

That's what Hitler said,

Blasphemy? How do you know its blasphemy? I bet Tzan was there. It's not like him to miss something of that magnitude during his lifetime.

I see no point in hopelessly arguing with a lost person (atheists, Muslims, Hindus, etc., etc.) about religion

It's a stereotype for atheists to be pushy and annoying about their beliefs. Many denizens of /r/atheism will claim to follow logic and science, but they only like to bully and harass other people based on what they believe. I don't really have any problem with mocking beliefs, because beliefs don't have feelings, but /r/atheism goes beyond that. They believe a bunch of other stupid crap as well. This has nothing to do with them being atheists however, they're just a bunch of assholes who share a common belief.

It's similiar with you. You are against most of the people that reside in your country. You could be like a lot of dumbfucks who don't declare themselves to be anti-gay or who refuse to talk to people of different beliefs, but you have isolated yourself in your own circlejerk.
