heat vs bricks

1 question: does heat give minifigs cracked arms and legs? ( i don't mean fire i mean stuff like underfloor heating)

I highly doubt the heating in the house would interfere with what you put on the floor. Even then, I'm almost positive that if anything caused your lego's to crack it would be the cold.

Then again I failed science so you should probably get colette or something he knows alot of stupid shit

Rapid heating and cooling can make some materials brittle, but generally you'd need to heat a substance to the point that it's nearly melted in order to risk damage from cooling it back down. So unless your floor gets hot enough to melt plastic, you should be fine (and if it does, you have bigger problems than a few melted minifigs).

Maybe if you put them right on the heater. But why would you do that?
Are you sure it's not your dog again?
Give a minifig an inch, and he'll murder for a mile.

Um... heat usually doesn't, but every now and then Lego gets a shipment of plastic pellets with some kind of impurity in them that causes the plastic to develop cracks over time during normal use - the cracks are usually along seam lines, but sometimes right in the middle of a flat surface. Several of the original Pirate sets that I got when I was a kid developed cracks like those. Doesn't happen often, but it does happen. Could also be from the plastic cooling too quickly during casting so it doesn't "meld" properly...

Yup, that's what happened to the majority of lime colored bonkle connector pieces in 2007. Those things were brittle as shit, cracking and breaking after the first attaching/detaching.

Unless you leave legos in the trunk of a car with your dead bodies during the middle of summer, heat wont ruin your legos.

Don't put lego on the floor. Haven't you ever in your life stepped on one?

I think this is a question I could answer correctly.
As much as I know thermal cracking of ABS could occur right after the manufacture process when hot plastic cooled down but reheating could not lead the parts to crack.
