Codex Midran, Update 1

Post by Scratch » Sat Jan 11, 2014 1:31 pm

Hello, I've decided to make a mega-thread compiling all my medivo armies in one place. Without further ado, here's they are.

The Red Company

Image

Image
Very much focused on Heavy Infantry, the Red Company is known for it's Red Cloaks and Darkspears.

Royal Army

Image

Image
Drawn from the liege levies of the Mountain lords, and the personal guard of the Soren Kings, they have fierce spearmen and heavy cavalry. Leading currently is the Crown Prince, David Soren.

Image
Updated are the Threshecutioners, the King's faceless and elite bodyguards, with new armor and cool little plumes.

The Company of the Dragon

Image

Image

Image
Evenly split between archers and light infantry, the Company of the Dragon is a damn good skirmish force.

Image
The Fallen Lord Pyralspite leads the company atop his dragon, Jewelsnout.

Orks of the Shade Tower

Image
From the northern mountains and western marshes, the Orks of the Shade have been terrorizing the borderlands for decades.

Image
Pictured here are two of the Liutenants, the gunslinger and the great-archer.

Image
In the center we have the Lady's second in command, the phenoix knight, and our Lady of Vengence herself, wielding her vengeful blade.

Image
Two more of Liutenants, the Boar and the Spaniard.

Image
The last Liutenant, and an Orkish Icon, half man half bat half dog and half horse. He's twice the man you are.

Assorted Nobles of Fuckton

Image
The borderlord and his rugged frontiersmen(and frontierwoman). Since this was taken I have updated them with more helmets and the new grey and silver castle pants.

Image
One cyclops who will probably become a hero, since the Sauron eye looks pretty badass in there.

Image
A little tribute to Zahru, I made a pair of Lianas when I realized I had all the pieces.

Image
And a little tribute to Dark Souls, I have made Queen's blade Ciaran, Artorias Abysswalker and his great wolf Sif, and then Patches the Trustworthy.

Image
Here's priests of the four religions, one Dragon Priest, one Brother of the Sun, one Greycloak priest of the Five, and the Saint-Knight of the Hollow Orders, who I will update and post once I clean their bodies off the ship.

Image
Here's some minor lords who deserve their own shot, there's a pampered lord, a wily hedge knight, two border lords, and some freak mashup of warrior cultures.

Image
And finally, here's young Ornstein and the dragon that gave him the title "Dragonslayer." The dragon was also called "Dudeslayer" for killing that dude there.

I like the Dudeslayer. Made me laugh. Also, good use of brickarms.

thats a really good load of armies there! and by the way, why don't you just use normal lego bows and arrows?

Thanks all! I assume you are refering to the gold claw bows, it's because all my normal bows are in the Company of the Dragon, with the horse archers and regular archers.

You can do minifigs like no one else. My favourite are the Threshecutioners.

Thanks! There's still 3 more forum battles planned in this arc, and I've got some battle reports with the Red Cloaks in them soon.

This was sick. I love colour schemes. Well done.

half man half bat half dog and half horse
I can already imagine his opponent's exclamations as they're being ripped apart by him:

"Watch out, it's manbatdoghorse!"

"No, it's more like a dogbathorseman!"

Stuff like this makes me happy to get back into the forum.
