The Brickhammer

Post by mikolaj007 » Wed Jan 22, 2014 1:31 pm

it is a little game i made with my brother.

you take few of the 1x1 brick of 1 color and put the on the stud board.
A brick can move 2 studs and attack anything in 2/1 studs
if you attack in 2 studs you have to roll the dice 5+
and if you attack in 1 stud you kill in 4+.
if you roll enough you kill the warrior.

Nimja, tell me which two of Galidor, Time Cruisers and Knight's Kingdom II were better than Heroica.

I thought Heroica was a brilliant idea because you could make tonnes of role-playing scenarios and the like.

I wasn't around for the first 2. KK2 was actually OK. The worst was , FYI, the decision to replace Bionicle, the BEST original series, with Hero Factory.

Anyway Heroica was a ripoff of RTS RPGs,(Lego even said "The system was inspired by RPGs"), which, in turn, were basically ripping off from stuff like stratego, tactico, and tabletop D&D! so its aboard game ripped off of computer games, ripped off of board games.

It's not "ripped off" it's inspired.

Don't forget: KK2 paychecks paid for the development of BW2005. Which is either good or bad depending on your point of view, I guess.

Inspired is really just a softer way of saying "ripped off".

I did not know that. Win/win/win I suppose.

That's the project I was assigned to while I was building BW2005 in my free time. Concept work for my day job, KK2 freelance in the evenings, and then cooking up BrikWars in whatever gaps I could find in between.
