How to use a Dalek

Post by motorhead fan » Sun Jan 26, 2014 11:07 am

First things first: i don't know if this belongs here

1) Moving

Daleks can't sprint for obvious reasons(they have no legs)

The normal distance is 4 inches

It can fly : just do what you do to sprint, apart from it can move over stuff

2)EXTERMINATE!

Shooting: either Three normal shots or 1 shot that hits on 3,4,5,6s and does 4dices of damage(enough to kill someone in a shot)
Burnifying: refer to smallish flamer topic in the rulebook part of the forum

3)GETTING ITSELF KILLED

Weapons that have no affect at all: Bullets "normal" lasers, non OT close combat weapons, grenade level explosives.

Other weapons that hurtDaleks: bigger bombs, heavy laser weapons OT weapons, and the usual speeding massive objects
Dalek weapons

I don't know how much dmage Daleks could withstand from these guns, please comment your suggestions

Sooo... It's God Damn annoying to fight? Considering the firepower you need to bring it down. Also how much cp would it cost? I'm considering fielding some.

What about shooting it in the eyestalk? That should be included.

Also the idea that it's immune to bullets, grenades, "normal" lasers and CC weapons makes it OP. Just give it high armour instead.
This sig is too fucking large: show anyway

That's the main thing I really hate about Dr Who (that, and the costume issue that comes every time they go to the future). If your show's main hero is a pacifist, you don't need to have nigh-invulnerable bad guys come crawling out of the woodwork.

6. Normal weapons do zero damage.
7. You are limited to a certain class of weapon to do any damage at all.
8. You could have just standard minifig stats for the Dalek.
9. The higher class of weapon is reduced in ability to a standard 1" weapon, like a pistol or sword, 3 use, 1d6 dam.
10. Exterminate?

Seems like it'd almost work just to treat them like Heavy Armor minfigs, with all the usual bonuses and limitations (slow, damage resistance, etc), except that they can el-e-vate.

Oh, you're refering to the rulebook page on armor.
