I posted lego several times:

I also made some Bavarian ships for Silverdream, but he hasn't noticed.

"n00b" doesn't mean you never post anything good. It means that you can't be trusted not to reply to other n00bs, and that I need to keep a close eye to clamp down on any n00b-spirals in progress. It's a note to myself more than anything.

If I could, then other n00bs wouldn't know who they weren't allowed to talk to without getting instant bans. Which would be pretty funny, I've got to admit.

Sooner or later no n00bs would post simply because they don't want to get banned.

Yes, because then they're just posting for the sake of posting, not to actually contribute anything useful. Always frowned upon.

I'm still not seeing a downside to this. Oh wait, yes I am. I can't believe I'm going to say this, but some of the most entertaining posts come out of watching two n00bs duel to the LOL. Mind you, we're talking funny uh-oh here, not necessarily funny ha-ha, but still, it does have some merits.

So Stubby, how many times a year do you think someone pulls that "hurr, I pulled one over on the forum mods" schtick? Might be a fun thing to keep track of who does that. I see another "rumble in the forum" battle report coming out of it! Take all the forum-no-longer-goers like steampunkpenguin-ohmycrapthisisalongname and have them battle against Stubby and the mods in Lego form!

You could make two of each one who makes an alt, so they get an extra body (but no extra special abilities since they don't really NEED them), or maybe we could make them conjoined twins with their alts... hmm....

A couple times a year. But I usually let them win eventually. Silverdream and Colette are the first two examples that spring to mind, but I know there are others.

I just read this whole thread for the first time and came to a conclusion:

If you can't spot the noob in the thread, then it's probably you.
