"Greetings generals and politicians! I am Lab Director Leopold, introducing you to the brikverse's first seventh-generation Knightmare Frame, the Z-01 Lancelot."

Image
"Incorporating the best Trattorian technology my Department Chair would allow me to use, the Lancelot is equipped with an impenetrable energy shield that blocks everything from gunshots to tank rounds. I also took the liberty to replace the Slash Harkens with a uniterminal teleporter."

Image
"Unfortunately, offensive armaments are a little unsatisfactory right now, consisting only of its rifle. I am looking into mounting some more built in weapons in such a way as to not interfere with articulation or the shielding system."

Image
"And finally, the brave pilot of the Lancelot prototype, Dr. Shimura. As we would never trust a unit this advanced to a common soldier, only Trattorian doctorates are to be allowed to pilot it."

Image
"As you can see, the Lancelot is superior in every way to its predecessor. Using it, we hope to end the pathetic reputation of Trattorian ground forces."

Awesome. I'm guessing you couldn't make a satisfactory slash harken design?

Brag's Gekka is so big it works there, but on something small like my Lancelot, there's just no good place to put it. Plus the original has four and looking at my pitiful collection of winches I gave up.

I really need to figure out a place where I can stick a few more guns to compensate for that though. Also, an appropriately sized laser sword.

It's a pretty awesome thing when you can compare something you built recently to something you've belt a couple years ago. That Lancelot is sick, Colette.

You should rename it the Burberry.

Bavarian Pilot: "Tehehe, an unarmed Lancelot. The shields can only hold so long until reinforcements..."

Bavarian Pilot: "What the?"

Introducing Slash Harkens, a kind of mecha-sized grappling hook that doubles as an offensive weapon. The Lancelot has been updated to have two shoulder-mounted ones, to give it offensive capability even without its rifle.

And also because it's just not Code Geass without them.

Try gauntlet-style weapons that can be swapped out on the left hand and strapped to the wrist for easy switching. The rifle's nice for taking out heavy armor at longer ranges, but you want heavy explosives for dedicated anti-infantry (howitzer gauntlet), a sword because duh, possible missiles for anti-air capabilities and maybe even a flamethrower if you want it to fill more of a support role and burn figs out of their hiding spots so that the rest of your forces can finish them off.

I mean a pistol would work too since it's one-handed, but a wrist-mounted flamethrower sounds so much cooler.

Instead of doing this, I would give it a VARIS rifle and two MVSs to keep with the theme. If you want to give it anti-infrantry I would give it a few chaos mines.

Also even though they didn't use hydrowhatever acid in Code Geass, I think you should fit some in the boots to spray your enemies with.

...why do we need to keep with the theme? :sparta:, put whatever the fuck you want on it.

To offer the Lancelot improved flexibility in combat, we have developed two new weapons for it in addition to the size 6 VARIS rifle- a pistol with an underslung ClF3-thrower to deal with those pesky infantry, and a size 4 laser sword. We also mounted two additional Slash Harkens on the wrists, hopefully completing our modifications and promoting the Lancelot from prototype to combat-ready status.
