I have clear boxes that i store my lego in, so i can see the lego that is up against the walls. More than once, i have seen the perfect piece down on the bottom of the box, and i dig and dig until... it slips away. I try again, and lose it on the way up. On the third try, i bring it up in my hand triumphantly... only to find that its the wrong piece!

Gah! :D

I know exactly this feeling. It sucks.

I think we all that have more than 3 big boxes filled with LEGO® already felt it.

I posted a topic a while ago on how to store legos and ended up sorting them by color, it actually helps find peices cause your eyes arent overwhelmed by so many different colors and shapes.
As a bonus for cleaning my room of (almost) all legos, i got a new bed :D

I've gotten so used to having every colour in one big pile my eyes sorta filter colours, shapes and sizes....if I need blue, that is the only colour I will find. I'm still deciding wether or not its a good thing....
