: The Honda-Ziplok Clan allies with the Survivalists.
Zombies and Mutants
The bulk of the zombies advanced up the alleyway between the two buildings. The Dimmy hero was hungry for some heroic BRAAAAAAIIIIIIINNNNSSSS, and zoned in on the Survivalist hero, but he was too far away to do anything.
The alleyway was getting cramped, so a few zombies headed off to the sides.
Meanwhile, the winged Peach flew on ahead and fired his bow and arrow at the Survivalist sniper. The only two units which can respond to the attack are the sniper and turret -- the hero's guns don't have the range to hit the winged zombie.
First blood! The sniper is out of the game -- at least until the hero can go and heal him.
The survivalist stealth trooper disappears.
Here's the overview of the field for him. The black mark shows his last known position.
The rest of the troops wait for the Nomad Raiders to get closer.
Honda-Ziplok Clan (me)
The Hero moves out to the yellow wall in front of the troops' starting position.
Using a Stupendous Feat, he picks up the barrier and turns it about 90 degrees to provide cover against the Nomad Raiders.
Meanwhile, three troops hop into the tank and head towards the nearest crate.
They disembark, and the bazooka and minigun troopers stand by to provide covering fire.
The rifleman opens the crate, and receives...
The Rage Virus Bomb
. This grenade-type weapon infects all minifigs within 2" of its impact point with rage virus, causing them to go berserk and attack the nearest non-infected unit. One use only.
The troops and flyer join the hero by the yellow barricade.
The hero leaps aboard the flyer.
The flyer moves out to strafe the zombies...
It fires its MKI gun at the Dimmy leader, and misses.
The Dimmy leader and one Peach return fire, but fail to pierce the flyer's armor.
Nomad Raiders (Jifel)
The Nomads' Landship advances towards the zombies.
One rifleman hops out and opens a crate, revealing...
A Battle Droid!
The droid is now part of the Nomad Raiders' army. It carries a standard rifle.
The Landship's turret fires on the antitank cannon, and fails to pierce its armor.
The antitank cannon returns fire, and... ditto.
The Survivalist rifleman fires next. The hero is out of range.
The riflemen on the landship return fire.
One down! Don't worry, the hero can heal one of the casualties next turn.
