UPDATE: I'm trying to think of a way of doing the secret faction...it'll be secret, we won't talk of it in the battle report, only of what it does and the consequences...unless its members get spotted.

This actually reminds me a lot of IBM.
First, the usage of the word 'innovative' without actual substance confuses and enrages me, though IBM is a fan. Second, the choice of factions is peculiar.
- "secret, awesomly overpowered faction" :: Yes, IBM is secret and huge.
- Droids :: laptops gone bad.
- you get the special faction! :: Some of the employees are very special.
- something spacey :: new project perhaps?
- faction with old people, but not quite... :: Other employees. Or elves.
