Adding Realism to Battles: Jump-out shot

Post by pesgores » Thu Jan 29, 2009 2:24 pm

The Jump-Out Shot: Adding Realism to BrikWars
(set of realistic modifications 1.1)

UR: 3
User Skill penalty (only when using the weapons): -2
NOTE: Short-Ranged weapons only.

A minifig may roll his skill when behind cover to jump out of cover, shoot his weapon and go back into cover. But if he fails, he can't go back into cover because he slips.

Some minifigs may have skills that diminish the UR or the US Penalty.

this seems like just an ad-hoc rule to cover an eventuality that came up in a game. honestly, i'd just fudge it.

I have to agree with birdman, Fudging and making stuff up is better then having a rule for things that rarely happen. If I wanted to mess with things like that, I'd go play Warhammer 40K :D

It can be used on a Wild West shootout scenario.
