Has the site been hacked?

Postby Theblackdog » Fri Apr 10, 2009 8:04 am

I typed www.brikwars.com into my browser, and got some weird site titled "Solar gate opener expertise". Can you guys tell me if this link gives you the Brikwars homepage or the weird site I got? I'm trying to determine if the problem is on the site or on the computer. For the record, I got back onto the Brikwars site by typing in "http://www.brikwars.com/forums"
Just one random act of violence can brighten your day. Especially if it involves explosives.

I'm guessing he forgot to pay the site fee (It costs money to have a website), and some guy bought it and changed it to a Solar Gate Openning Enterprise, because, you know, Brikwars has to do with whatever that's about.

Maybe it's just a prank. . .

It's only the frontpage that's been affected.

Well obviously since we've still got the forums.

It is pretty weird though.

maybe the frontpage has been deleted from there servers by accident since it apears to be a web hoster.
i just clicked on the "webhero" link at the bottom it's a hoster.

If you went to other Webhero sites, i bet they would be messed up too. Webhero's probably having a problem. Hopefully it gets fixed...
