Do you have a nice template I could use to mold a design around for my minifigs? I would greatly apreciate it.

Often, literally, a pillow fight but may include similar situations like volleyball, particularly when wardrobe is skimpy and the action is bouncy.

Also, a word of advice from somebody with experience. Don't touch any fancy editing programs. Just don't do it. MS Paint is perfect for it, as it is primitive and simplistic... We actually did a few of ours with pencil and pencil crayons... They turned out remarkably well.

Well, that's all well and good for beginners, but if you are already familiar with a more arcane editor (such as Macromedia Fireworks), go ahead and use it. It'll will in the end be a bit more work on your part, but you'll get better results. It also depends on your printer, but that's a different matter...

okay, i've asked somewhere before but still am not really sure. how do i made decals? i understand that you make or print something online, and then just attach it to a fig. but do you need special paper? or is it just something stupidly easy like glue and tape?

It can be done either way you posted there. If you really don't know, go to the MCN link above and check that out. Basically, you save one of their templates (they have everything down to horse armor and ninja flags!), edit it on some software or some-such, print it out on whatever, and plaster it onto your minifig. Ta-dah! Custom minifig ready to blow stuff up.

Glue, tape, or a water slide transfer. That last one you need water slide transfer paper, which you can get at your local Staples or other office supply store. Water slide decals involve cutting out your decal from the main sheet of paper, soaking it in water, and then sliding the decal off of the paper and onto your minifig. Then you let it dry overnight, and voila!

The way I've always imagined it is
1)get the templet
2)open it with paint
3)do the design, and resize if needed
4)print it with sticker paper

Sticker paper works as well. Thanks, I forgot that option :)

Actaully, this thing works wonders. I have one of these. They're great. Perfect for those little decals that go on Legos. Plus, they look glossy. Score!

Oh, hey, you know I'd never thought of that! I do make stickers sometimes, but you can also buy (probably longer lasting) packages of printable sticker paper. Just throwing it out there.

How much do you think water slide paper costs?

Don't listen to him! Paint.NET is free, easy, and gets a 100% Orshum seal. PM me if you need any help with it.

Waterslide paper is about a buck a sheet depending where you buy it.
