How to kill bionicles

Post by maraxusok » Tue Jan 29, 2008 9:47 pm

I don't know much about the rules, (numbers and stuff) but talking to a friend I realized that bionicles are incredibly hard to kill. I figured, since bionicles die when they lose their masks, why not just send some soldier with a grappling hook to take off the mask? Would this be possible and if so, any ideas for the grappling hook stats?
do YOU recall what was the feel the day the music died?

They die when they lose their masks? How do they switch masks then?

I figure Bionicles would have to be disassembled, piece by piece, by attacking the joints. It might still be alive, but without arms and legs it's just a giant robotic decoration for your army's latrine.

fool, bionicles don't die when they lose their mask, they just get weakened, that's it.

so maybe if a bionicle loses his/her mask, it's weakened, and loses one structure level, but if it gets another mask, it's back to normal.

Often, literally, a pillow fight but may include similar situations like volleyball, particularly when wardrobe is skimpy and the action is bouncy.

Wouldn't bother blitz, I doubt his attention span will hold for the entire song.

As for how to take down a bionicle creation, I'm not certain as to why they would be difficult to disable/destroy. Armor rating of 4 perhaps? Exposed hinges are 2 armor ratings lower, placing it at Armor rating 2. Sure they're big, but most of the joints are fairly exposed. With some well placed explosives you could reduce it to limping speed relatively easily.

Wow, a different color and caps. Guess you must be right. =_o

I'd also like to take this time to point out that not all bionicle creations have masks. Quite a few do not, and then there are the bionicle minifigs to consider.

Ha ha I love how you can't do a single thing right, from not being able to spell or form coherent sentences or follow a conversation or make any kind of useful contribution to other people's discussions, but you're still able to feel self-righteous and superior when you catch someone else having fun with a Lego element you don't like. This is why America is the greatest nation on earth.

I think the RAAGHGHGHGH pretty much summed it up, and you're right, 2 angry faces in a row are never enough.

Oh don't get me wrong, I have nothing against getting everything wrong. It's just when you then turn around and yell at someone else that makes it comedy.

well that makes sense I gess... but bionicle is my pet peeve because I blame it for the juniorization of the lego company as it has replaced "real" lego sets. DIE BIONICLE DIE
