Been here longer then pretty much all of you or some shit.

I'm really surprised that Lego doesn't package minifig packs more often. Everyone I have ever known who has collected Legos shares the same complaint: they can't get enough minifigs. I'm sure the LEGO Company would rather people just shell out the extra $20+ for a full set, but I think minifig battle packs are a fantastic way to make money because they would be immensely popular (and not just to Brikwars players).
All I know is, if Lego stores had minifig parts on the pick-a-brick walls, I'd be in there waaaaay more often, and would probably buy more sets as a result.

I said "no" to drugs, but they just wouldn't listen...
Probably not many of you are in the design industry yet, so you don't know what it's like to have really great stories to tell and you can't because of the non-disclosure agreements. But the fact that minifig army packs are actually going to be sold brings a testosterone-loaded tear to my eye; they represent for me the culmination of an epic struggle that I fought for my entire career at Lego.
(I should add, I always lost that struggle. I didn't have anything to do with these packs in particular, they've got to be the work of some other genius designer who was able to convince the execs in a way that I couldn't. Although, like a lot of the big changes over the last couple years, I bet that a big factor was that Joergen is setting the corporate direction now instead of Kjeld.)

Oh. My. God.
Both of those are extremely useful:
Battle Packs - Buy a set of 4-5 minifigs for cheap, as opposed to paying tons extra for a set that may have less minifigs than that! Awesome-ness!
Ultimate Chess Set - Probably spend some inordinate amount of money to buy a set with 32 minifigs (2 separate armies of 16 minifigs each) and four small castle terrain pieces, and a bunch of extras, like a full size Lego chess board. Less-awesome-than-the-battle-packs-but-still-pretty-awesome-ness!
Although, now that I think about it, the battle packs would be so much better if they included a horse for each side. I only need two more skeletal horses and my 500 Cp themed army will be complete! But no, I have to go buy another set.... sheesh.

I'd have to drive to... the US? I don't even know if there are LEGO stores in Canada. It's funny because Niagara falls is closer than my cousins. >_>
I don't want to go to the States though; that would just suck.
So hopefully they're availabe online and I can buy like... one... maybe.

Often, literally, a pillow fight but may include similar situations like volleyball, particularly when wardrobe is skimpy and the action is bouncy.
