I wonder how much begging we need to do to get into a closed beta phase of Lego Universe?

I want Lego Battles but I would prefer it for the PC. My PS2 has finally killed itself and I resent having to pay for a new system that wont play pre-existing games. Hand held systems have crappo graphics IMO. My computer will outlast them all so all games from now are PC or F all.

Indiana Jones was disappointing so I don't hold out much hope for No:2 or Harry Potter.

I never knew... OMFG! :shock: I must print this picture and laminate it immediately to protect it from my tears of joy. Possibly other less mentionable bodily fluids, like saliva. What?.. To much?

I thought Lego Battles sounded like a cool idea until I saw screens of it during gameplay. Suffice to say that in many, you can't even discern that they're Legos; it just looks like an uglier-than-average RTS. Also, it is yet another "Lego" game where you don't build anything, which is a real shame. I've always wanted something like Lego Racers, where you're given free-reign, only where you can build more than just race cars. Still, I like RTS games, so who knows? It might be good. Besides, the developer has one of the coolest company names, ever. Lego Universe might give me more of what I want.

Now, speaking of LU, let's get the haunting question we all have about it out of the way: How the hell will Lego possibly be able to safeguard the game against all the players who come online and build Lego penises? :D

LU is done by Lego Interactive Software and has nothing to do with Travellers Tales

Heres the info on Lego Universe though

Realeased Early 2010

Official Lego MMORPG

If you download from site you must pay subscription
If you buy the actual game in shops you don't have to pay monthly (my prefered option - With star wars galaxies you had to pay both fees!)

@Warhead

I know Indy sucked but Indy 2 will be better than you think - Its all four films - redesigned - this could meen extra levels or harder versions of the old ones - you can also make your own levels in a level creator

I personally can't wait for Harry Potter - i usually think of a lego game and think of all the characters and levels and such - pretty sad - but i worked out how they could do the levels perfectly - adding quiditch as vehicle levels (characters include buckbeak and such). The characters don't really need much help - they sorta imagine themselves. Imagine turning into padfoot as serius or a werewolf as lupin. They could add lessons as minigames aswell.

Lego Harry Potter will be bad ass. Hope it's as awesome as the movies.

Lego Universe looks awesome as well. I hope it has something like the Spore Creature Creator, but with Lego pieces.

Can I get a reference for this? I wasn't really sure on getting this game due to the fact that I don't want to pay for two MMOs at once, but if there's a way to NOT have to pay for LU then it'll be a must buy for me!

It actually doesn't say that anywhere on the official site. If it's true, it probably will closer to launch.
