So you used the Sniper? I didn't know if it would work considering that it hadn't been tested, so your input is valued. We discussed the Sniper rules <a href="http://www.brikwars.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=233&start=15">here, so it would be appreciated if you posted your problems so it can be discussed and changed as necessary. </a>

As for the battle, I can't wait to see the pictures.

I fielded two of them, one died from kidko's shadowcaster and the other tried to kill kido's hero but he decided dieing wasn't a good idea and teled away, managed to kill the dragon he was riding. He was also one of the few things of mine to survive.

why add range? you didn't read the stat card well enough. it says the sniper can hit anything he can see. which more or less translates to infinite range.

and what problems with ranged ego did you encounter?

Yes it had infinite range but it didn't flat out say so. The problem with ranged ego was there were 3 1000pt armies in a 4x6 space.

well durh no, but it should be assumed when we say "anything in sight", that we mean anything in sight.

and this is the reason ranged ego is the way it is! it's precisely so that you can't have a million soldiers standing next to your sniper and expect him to be invincible. snipers are NOT super units: they're support units.

1. that was a terrain peice that olo. wanted to knock over to kill some of kidko's minis, only killed two
2. the return of the underwater except not thing. olo's skele troops took over the place, one is hanging from a crane
3. kidko's stuff dieing
