Is it possible to use Brikwars Rules to make, like, a soccer match, or a basketball game? Or Olympics?

Yes, i know it is possible, it is just a question tag. But i don't know how...

If you know of something, go ahead and shoot it.

Perhaps it's just me, but the one sport that I believe fits best with the rules and spirit of BrikWars...

...would have to be DODGEBALL.

Really? I would've said grenadeball, or dodgebullet.

I was thinking solely in the realms of "real" sports, but those work too. I do think a Dodgeball rules variant would be interesting to develop...

Or rugby, maybe hockey.

very easily! if you can agree on a good UR for sports maneuvers, and combining with already present sprinting and throwing rules, you could totally play briksports!

Ahahaha. Silly American. Curling for the win!*

*Don't worry, curling isn't a real sport.
Often, literally, a pillow fight but may include similar situations like volleyball, particularly when wardrobe is skimpy and the action is bouncy.

What is curling?

Oh, and in my opinion football is boring (mainly because I can't see a thing that's going on), I much prefer fencing.

Actually, since we're on this topic, I have been wondering how to incorporate musical attacks into brikwars. Two football teams going against each other in a brikwars game could be fun and all, but two Marching Bands going head to head in a musical competition would be much more interesting and entertaining.

I don't think anyone who's seen rugby would ever want to watch american-style football again. It's like the mega bloks version of rugby.

awesome.

basically you just take a big, heavy puck that's kindof like a hockey puck, but several times larger and heavier. basically it's a huge, flat rock. then, you THROW it on the ice, and watch it slide. you then race your rocks to try to get the best time. oh! there's also people on ice skates skating in front of the rocks, sweeping in front of them to remove friction. hey! i found a use for those damned brooms!

also, if hunting is considered a sport, then curling should be. hell, it's an olympic event!

haha. Silly horses.

Basically, you slide a big, gray rock with a handle on it called a 'rock' down the ice. At the other end there is a target sort of thing that you have to get in the middle of. Red and yellow teams alternate sliding their rocks, and try to knock th other team's rocks away from the center and try to get theirs inside. At the end of a round, the team who has two rocks closest to the center gets two points. If the rocks alternate closest to the center, both teams get one point. There is no speed. :)

The people aren't on ice skates, they wear fancy shoes. The brooms are to 'curl' the rock, hence the name.

Gee, looks like someone enjoys their curling. I was never one for curling, heck, I was never one for anything having to do with ice. Actually, forget that, I'm not one for sports albeit Underwater Hockey and cyber sports (if they count).

bah. forgive me, for i haven't seen curling since the last winter games. i'm a bit... rusty.

as for sports, i'm still trying to think of a sport to invent myself. so far all i've got is a version of lacrosse with armor plating, motorcycles, and volleyball sized balls of solid rubber. and some kind of... thunderdome.
