How about, regarding hitting/kicking a ball, you roll X(d6-1) to find out how many inches you kick or hit it. You decide how far you want to hit or kick it (for example, I want to smack my golfball 2d6-2"), and the X determines the UR (In my example, I have to roll at least a 2).
(Might only make sense if it's a stationary target)

edit:include 'to throw a ball'

Rollerball could be awesome to try with BrikWars rules. It just wouldn't be too easy to build the game area.

I'd say that baseball (or Finnish baseball, if you hate the version they play in America) or ice hockey could be considered as potential BrikWars sports. Come on, ice hockey is violent enough for BrikWars!

"So I went to the fights last night, and a hockey game broke out!"

Har har.
Often, literally, a pillow fight but may include similar situations like volleyball, particularly when wardrobe is skimpy and the action is bouncy.

Somewhat. The only thing left is for you to stop avoiding unarmed combat in the rules so we can have some sweet minfig on minifig [fighting] action! That link was brilliant, by the way.
