Wizard? Spaceship.

Post by Blitzen » Thu Feb 28, 2008 6:22 pm

Hmm. Yes.

I tried to draw a spaceship in the fashion of THE MAN Olothontor's, but I kind of screwed up. While it is spaceshippy, I think this thing looks like a wizard with his wise old robe on.

This is actually a spaceship modeled partially off of the Subspace Terrier which I am so fond of. It's lightning fast, and has weak guns. Amazing handling and speed make this my favourite Subspace ship. And it's red. No wonder.

So, yes. I apologize for the lines and crap, but I rotated and shrunk it. Harang me as necessary and don't forget the maroon!

Often, literally, a pillow fight but may include similar situations like volleyball, particularly when wardrobe is skimpy and the action is bouncy.

Gawd.

In further note, my brother said it looked like a castle. And then I chased him around saying 'tsew'. And then it was all better.

huh. maybe guys are better at technical drawings? you seem like more of a "smooth lines" person for art, so this type of a ship isn't quite your style. what i'd suggest is something that has lots of crazy curves in it, so you can show em all off. either that, or use a ruler.

I doubt such a broad statement as that could be made, but I see what you mean. My whole symmetricality is messed up, so I usually don't post my pencil drawings. That's a good point, though. I'll be right back.

You certainly chose a round-a-bout way of telling me I suck.

What do you think this is anyway? Why, back in the Frappr days, we wouldn't get much more than a "you suck LOL" but dammit, that's all we had and we were happy to have it! You're getting soft, Horseman old boy.

I definitely see the wizard and he's giving the thumbs up.
Sweet drawing though, Blitzen, you did a good job with the shading.

So in this case, the improvement would be to change genders?

What you really have here is true art. It has transcended its original mandate and lies there awaiting for the viewer to impose upon it his own world view and in doing so reveal the truth that lurks in the viewer's soul. It is spaces hippy, to the max. :)
