Squad skirmish with 7 year old

Post by G-Man » Fri Feb 29, 2008 2:39 pm

This is a game I played with my seven year old son. Simple and to the point. medic, hero and 3 regular troops. He had a great time. To my shame I didn't take photos. I will have to next time.

I posted the write-up on BGG to try to draw some attension to the game on that site.

Good write-up, even without photos, but photos would aid in the comprehension...

Very good though.

Nice! I would like to see a picture of the battlefield, but other than that, great job!

Nice write-up! It's nice to see that a 7 year-old can grasp the rules, which provides us with the knowledge that "Not understanding the rules" is a poor excuse not to play. Definitely try to get pictures next time!

*applause* You win the prestigious award of having made THE creepiest post on this board. My friend Chris Hansen would like to have a word.

I sorta figured it'd sound a bit creepy when I posted that, but I couldn't figure a better way to say "I'd like to have a Brikwar with your son sometime"

You could have just said, "I'd like to have a Brikwar with your son sometime"...

But then nobody would point out the creepiness of saying "I'd like to borrow your son"!
besides, every town has a Son Rental!

It's sad to see such an innocent thread of father and son bonding turn into the creepiest thread on brikwars...
